Some more much belated sketches from another local rodeo I attended a few weeks ago. I like sitting high in the bleachers because there’s usually livestock pens back there and I can draw them resting, grazing etc. directly behind me was a pen with horses. There were steers off to the left but I had to crane my neck around the ad banners to see them so I stuck to horses since it was easier to observe and draw them.

The first drawing was actually drawn from a photo I took furring the opening ceremony, the other two were drawn from life.
